Boundary Surveys

A boundary survey establishes the true property corners and property lines of a particular parcel of land. Boundary surveys are sometimes used to obtain building permits and resolve boundary disputes. A boundary survey should not be mistaken for an ALTA Survey, as it does not address the following items; among other things:

Adjoining land owners
Building setbacks
Does not address the title report
The character and location of buildings, walls, fences and other visible improvements on the property
Known utilities on site and their locations.
